After working in parish ministry for many years and knowing the importance of being a family, Augie and Dawn decided to create a ministry that is centered around the Eucharist and puts emphasis on faith, family, and friends.

For the last 22 years, SHINE has been just that. From the environment they create at camp to living their everyday lives, the Leal family strives to live the Gospel by serving the needy and elderly and hopes to inspire others to do the same.

​

Together, they share their gifts, talents, and love for the church with people of all ages, summer after summer.
